Woman struck, killed in Brooklyn hit-and-run: Police

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn — Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Brooklyn that left a woman dead early Saturday.

Authorities were called to the intersection of Pennsylvania and Atlantic avenues around 4:30 a.m. 

Officers arrived to find a woman who was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene, police said. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her identity has not been released. 

No arrests have been made.
